REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN FOR 2023
The Albany Creek Brumbies Rugby Club are pleased to announce registrations for the Girls Rugby Academy 2023 season are now OPEN.
Our academy provides rugby skills specific coaching for all age groups from under 6 to 18. We welcome new and experienced players. The Academy launches for 2023 on a Wednesday 19th April at the Albany Creek Brumbies Rugby Club, South Pine Sporting Complex.
Sessions run from 6pm till 7pm and will continue every Wednesday evening for 20 weeks (excluding during school holidays).

ABOUT THE GIRLS RUGBY ACADEMY
With the number of girls joining the Albany Creek Brumbies Junior Rugby Union Club growing each year, our club was delighted to form a Girls Rugby Academy in 2021. The Girls Rugby Academy, Albany Creek focuses on enhancing the fitness and rugby skills of girls who have an interest in the sport.
Academy members gather one evening a week throughout School Terms 2 & 3, enjoying full access to the grounds and new clubhouse facilities of the Albany Creek Brumbies Rugby Union Club. Accredited coaches provide fitness and skills training on a weekly basis. Specialised coaches will visit the Academy throughout the year to provide more targeted training programs. All Academy members receive a training shirt.
The Girls Rugby Academy is open to all girls aged 6 – 18 and costs $120 per player, per annum.
Whilst Academy members are encouraged to pursue their interest in rugby through a club team, it is not a requirement to be a member of any Rugby Union Club.
Female members, registered to play with the Albany Creek Brumbies in 2023 will receive their Academy membership for FREE.
Female players registered to other rugby union clubs are very welcome to join the Girls Rugby Academy Albany Creek and in fact, we welcome this diversity among our Academy members.

As a side note: The Albany Creek Brumbies seeks to fill girls only rugby teams in age groups U11 (born 2013) through to U18. Girls aged U6-U10 are still welcome and encouraged to join our mixed sides. For information on how to register to play with the Albany Creek Brumbies in 2023, please see our Membership page.
